Extension Activities 2017-18


  • Cutting and Tailoring was organised at Madhuranagar for 3 months from July to October 2017 in collaboration with AIDWA. 35 women trained in this program. The program was organised to create self-employment opportunity to economically backward women.
  • Assisted in studies at Child Aid Foundation by 35 STARS students. Students interacted with the children and conducted educational games to the students on 31.07.2017
  • 40 STARS students were taken to Prem Dhan, Gunadala, who generously donated snacks and fruits to the dying destitute and mentally retarded people. Also conducted games and gave away prizes on 13.11.2017.
  • STARS students conducted cultural programs for Madonna School for Deaf and Dumb students on 16.12.2017 and shared their Christmas joy by Donating Books and stationery.
  • The STARS students visited Amodini SKCV Children’s Trust on 21.01.2018, Assisted the inmates in their studies, Donated books and stationery, had interaction with the children and conducted educational games. Through this program students see themselves as charitable helpers.
  • Career Development Programmes at Yuvataram Foundation, Kolanukonda, Guntur, was organised by the STARS students on 27.01.2018. Career guidance on Vocational Courses and job opportunities were discussed with the children.
  • 40 STARS students had an exposure programs to old age home at Nirmalhriday Bhavan. Students spend time with the elderly, learnt their experiences and talked with them on 08.08.2017.
